1. Facebook Messenger & Instagram DM

Many patients who see your ads may not fill out a form right away. Instead, they may message your Facebook Page or Instagram DM directly. Often, dental practices don’t actively monitor these inboxes—and that’s where our AI steps in.

How it works:

  • As soon as someone sends a message to your Facebook Page or Instagram DM, the AI automatically replies using the same information as your standard SMS AI.

  • The AI will:

    • Answer patient questions

    • Confirm their name and phone number

    • Confirm their preferred appointment time

  • Once collected, the lead is sent to your team as a Hot Lead Notification, just like SMS leads.

  • You can view and reply to these conversations in the Dently AI dashboard under Conversations—they’re marked with a Messenger icon for easy identification:

How to enable it:

We’ll connect your Messenger and Instagram DM channels with a simple Facebook integration from inside your Dently dashboard.


2. Website Chat (Live Chat Widget)

You can also add a live AI chat bubble to the bottom right corner of your website. This works just like the Facebook AI bot but appears directly on your site.

How to install:

  • We’ll send you a small code snippet

  • You (or your developer) need to add it to your website’s body or footer code

  • Once added, the chat will appear live on your site and start handling messages automatically

⚠️ Note: Setting up the code snippet on your website is outside of our service scope, but we’re happy to provide clear, step-by-step instructions based on your website provider. If someone else manages your website, just forward them the code we send—they’ll know what to do.

How can I add the website chat widget?

Message our team and we’ll send you a code snippet. You or your web developer just need to paste it into your site’s footer code.


What if I want to reply to a patient manually?

If you send a message manually, the AI will automatically pause for 48 hours, so you can take over the conversation without interruptions.
